Question 1 – Within the remit set out above: what do you consider to be the priorities or issues that the Children, Young People and Education Committee should consider during the Fifth Assembly?

·            Children and Young People to have access to mental health services in a timely manner

·            Best practice to prevent and tackle bullying effectively

·            Care leavers to have better access to safe and secure housing options and to have offer of employment, education or training

 

Question 2 – From the list of priorities or issues you have identified, what do you consider to be the key areas that should be considered during the next 12 months (please identify up to three areas or issues)?  Please outline why these should be considered as key priorities.

All schools in Wales to be made mandatory bi-lingual provision and not segregated.  Currently there is a lot of emphasis placed on Welsh or English provision, we live in a bi-lingual society and the education system should complement this.
